Look what the Tinker Fae found...

I came home from work tonight and for some reason I was drawn to an incessant need to squeeze my puppy Izzy super tight, I'd seen people with their dogs walking in the street but there was someone missing. Where I work, we have a local homeless guy, we know as Jaap - a very Dutch name - who comes by to see us sometimes just to ask if we have any spare cardboard boxes, and we always slip him a little something to eat. Some cheese for him and his little scruffy Jack Russell, Murphy, when I saw Jaap today, sitting in a doorway he was missing his Murphy. I feel aweful, I didn't get a chance to speak to him but I'll have to try to find him tomorrow... 
For my 31 days of Halloween, today I'm a little fae exploring in the dark and looking for things to add to my collection of human things... 

I've always wanted to be a Tinker Fairy, one that was like a cool version of Tinkerbell without the grumpy attitude... Maybe it's one of those things that takes me back to my love of a children's book called "The Borrowers", in which little people lived in the walls of a house and came out to "borrow" things from the big people... Our little borrowing Tinker Fae has found herself the Old Prison - a backdrop from TROPIX - having a lit an old Groundskeeper Lantern - from random.Matter - that she found in The Engine Room... Her beautiful Songbird Fae shimmery wings - from AiiZawa - glittering in the soft lamp light.. The rest of the corridor lit by the eerie glow radiating from the ghostly Rottweiler - from JIAN - that was looking for his Master...

Fairy Scars dance in the light

It's FAR too hot and all I want to do is hide in the shade and wait for the Autumn to come. Every side of me is too dormant to come out to play, and I had to shake them awake... 

One of the dark fairies was the only one to stir, as she arose from her soft bed in the dappled light of the trees at the Lost Unicorn Forest, she steps over her sleeping fae sisters and heads out into the shadows... As she wanders through the the dappled lights of the forest the scars on her skin appear to come to life, dancing like butterflies on the rays of light... 

This outfit was actually not inspired by the butterflies, but I cannot help but get excited about these amazing  Lepidoptera Markings from CURELESS... The Cureless owner has been taunting us with these scars and butterflies for a while now, and I was super excited to see that she had released them! Then I remembered this amazing Spring Spirit Gacha collection from Lovely Alien that has some of the pretties flowery lingerie and straps for the arms and legs, as well as these AMAZING horns...

Adventure is calling! Are you coming with me?

Calling in the New Year, things are going to be going back to normal starting from next week and I'm not sure if I'm ready for it, o ready to just go back to sleep. It's going to be interesting to see how things change in the new year, I know my schedule will be changing but aside from that I'm looking for new adventures. 
I may even start doing more interesting exploring and meeting new people, it seems like a magical thing waiting to start and I guess, I'm actually ready for it... Let's go on an adventure... 

Walking the stairs in the place between imagination and reality, I find myself calling for inspiration... I may have found some, I'm going to explore but in the mean time, enjoy the prettiness which could be my first look of the day of the year!?!
Taken using the Grunt Musical Backdrop at Backdrop City, there's a magical looking Stained Glass Rivendale tree losing it's tinkling stained glass leaves... Yet it's my outfit that excites me the most... AS SOON AS I SAW THIS combination of miss chelsea's Holi shorts with the tights and the Holi Blouse with it's frills I HAD TO HAVE IT! I wore it a LOT over the Christmas period but it's taken me until now to come up with a picture that I love, hence why it's my first look of the day of the year! It was available at Tannenbaum, but that event is now closed, and so I'm hoping that the set will appear in the mainstore, if it's not there already! 
Anyway, I head adventure calling... I'll reach out my hand and whisper to you all "come with me, we're going on an adventure!!" Are you brave enough?!

Feeding the last of her Thirst at Trick or Treat Lane

I have some good news to share with everyone today... If you haven't had a chance to get to Trick or Treat Lane yet, the good news for you is that although today is meant to be the last day, they have decided to extend the opening over the weekend until Sunday! That's two whole extra days of shopping!!
That having been said, the official closing date is today and Rudh is about to enjoy the last of her tasty morsels from Trick or Treat Lane... There's just enough to keep her excited about next year, by then her hunger will be much greater, she's hungry still... 

She's just enjoyed the last of the Trick or Treaters, but that doesnt mean she cant still enjoy a little trip down Trick or Treat Lane.
Having to leave her gorgeous new Witchy Lair - a building released for ToTL from Rivendale - she is Thirsty... The little vampire in her calling out for something stronger than Halloween Candy. Marks of her vampiric status adorning her body, the Chompy Choker, the copy of Winifred's Necklace around her neck and even that painful looking cross carved over her eye - thanks to a make up layer called Satina from VileCult. 
Just a few more days of the awesome Trick or Treat Lane, don't forget to wander the streets and grab what you want before you lose the chance and it disappears till next Halloween!!!
