I have some good news to share with everyone today... If you haven't had a chance to get to Trick or Treat Lane yet, the good news for you is that although today is meant to be the last day, they have decided to extend the opening over the weekend until Sunday! That's two whole extra days of shopping!!
That having been said, the official closing date is today and Rudh is about to enjoy the last of her tasty morsels from Trick or Treat Lane... There's just enough to keep her excited about next year, by then her hunger will be much greater, she's hungry still...
She's just enjoyed the last of the Trick or Treaters, but that doesnt mean she cant still enjoy a little trip down Trick or Treat Lane.
Having to leave her gorgeous new Witchy Lair - a building released for ToTL from Rivendale - she is Thirsty... The little vampire in her calling out for something stronger than Halloween Candy. Marks of her vampiric status adorning her body, the Chompy Choker, the copy of Winifred's Necklace around her neck and even that painful looking cross carved over her eye - thanks to a make up layer called Satina from VileCult.
Just a few more days of the awesome Trick or Treat Lane, don't forget to wander the streets and grab what you want before you lose the chance and it disappears till next Halloween!!!

Sometimes everyone needs a little boost to the ego, a little whisper in the ear telling them they are "Worthy, Resilient and Courageous" no matter how imperfect they are... Yet sometimes on days like today I feel that I need that kind of support more than ever... Today is a BIG Day for me, as it's the first day of my new job, and while I'm excited, I'm also more than a little nervous and worrying that I cannot handle it!
So today, I'm trying to give myself a little confidence boost...
It's times like this I always find myself thinking "channel Rudh", Rudh has always been the bigger and stronger side of my personality. She's outgoing where the RL me sometimes lacks that ability...
Today I will be channelling my inner Rudh!!

She had this on the entire time she was away on vacation and fell for it's ability to see where she'd been as well as where she's now going! Dressed with a simple -ish - black skirt from JF Design, it's an outfit that I really like! Some might think it's a little weird but then it's Rudh LOL... DUH! Which coincidentally is the necklace from Kibitz she's wearing too LOL...

There has been so much dragging me down recently that I think it's time for me to put on a brave face and start acting like I'm OK again... It's been one thing after another and if I don't change my ways I'm going to become depressed and will never feel totally happy again, and that's not something I want to face - not that I mean to annoy anyone by saying that, I don't mean anything bad to true Depression sufferers...
So today I'm going to try something a little lively and fun to pick myself up and shake myself off... Wonder if it will work... Rudh, it's time to get your dancing shoes on...
When I hinted at going dancing, Rudh took it to a new level prepping for her very own champagne cocktail induced Burlesque show...
It started with an awesome - as per usual - pose props and set from COME SOON Poses, that was released within the last ever BishBox in August... YES I know it's been a while and I'm late getting it out there but please forgive me...
It didn't really help that Rudh had recently fallen in love with the super fun Ashley Mini Dress from JF Design - it's just such a cute twist on the traditional vintage flapper style that it cries out to be worn in a burlesque style show!! Especially when paired with the Yoshee Ribbon Boots - from KC Couture - that my MC Sister Solde bought me not too long ago.
Throwing her hair back and shaking it as she's dancing she looks like she's really enjoying herself, I just hope the feeling rubs off on the RL me...

Yesterday I was talking about history and letting it bring out the inner geek in me a little but today I am looking forward... Thinking about the future... There is so many things happening over the next couple of months that I feel it's going to be crazy busy, but OK I know that's not that far into the future LOL...
Now when I am looking for futuristic atmosphere in SL I tend to think of one awesome location. As a Photographer it's definitely been a go-to location for futuristic, and I say been because the future of this location seems to be on the brink of a goodbye. I heard somewhere that Insilico is closing... So I wanted to take one last trip over and say thank you...
It's been a great location for taking photos in, and if it's true about the closure then I for one am sorry to see it go. Insilico has been around for a long while now and it's always sad to see such well created sims disappear!
Of course when I was there I had to dress the part... My future, for Rudh at least, may look a little something like this LOL...
Yes she still has barely any clothing on, but that's the fault of this really cute "Kathy" Top - from JF Design at anyBody - which went so well with the futuristic Rudh's "Vial Mask" - shown here in yellow, but available in a range of different colours - from Violetility. I know that this mask was a past event release, and yes the event is over and I am late with sharing it, but it's available at the mainstore so no need to panic - at least not for you, I might get in trouble for being late with it LOL...
So in the future there will be a need for gas masks like this, least that's the way I feel the world is heading lol, but there will also be dragons. I've had dragons through my entire history of being Rudh, and I doubt they will ever fully leave me, I cannot see a future without dragons, even if they are just a teeny pet one - like this one from lassitude & ennui at The Gacha Garden.
