Something a little bit random, a little bit crazy and well, rather colourful is on the agenda today... It's FRIDAY and the start of what looks to be a good weekend, so I feel like I should get into the party mood!
You're lucky you can't hear my tone as I write this because it's dripping with sarcasm - especially as I say "WOOT PARTY!" Weekends for me are much of a muchness - working in my SL job, organising the Gators and if I'm very lucky getting some time just for me in which I can exercise my creativity demons by taking pictures... If I can find the right inspiration of course?!
Today's inspiration comes a little bit from the new "Suicide Squad" Movie... So many people out there are dressing like Harley Quinn however, so I decided to pull together a look I'm calling "ComicBook Girl"!
Yes, Yes, I know I edited this picture a LITTLE harder than I may have needed to but I do really like the over saturation... Comic Books have that look to them after all right?! Fan girl by day, wannabe superhero at night LOL!
She's wearing what I lovingly call my PJs... Not that they were made for that purpose but they just look like a cute pair of Pjs when worn together LOL... The top - and pants though you cannot see them well, but trust me, are freaking awesome - are the creations of Addams. The top is a Tina Mini T-Shirt in a Superhero print, for those of you that are wondering...
From there I started to accessories the wannabe superhero look... A wig to disguise my identity, yes it's blonde with not just blue but PINK dip-dye tones, from elikatira, and then to disguise myself even more a pair of HUGE Kitty Meow Glasses from [Fetch]. There was just one little thing needed - a super cute necklace, and I knew the perfect one... This adorable Choker Bell from {Psycho.Byts}, matches so perfectly with my kitty glasses!

In RL I'm not the kind of person that is religious... I'd always told myself too that there are a few things that you should never discuss with people unless you know them really well - these things include religion! BUT Today for Horror Haute purposes I may be making an exception to this rule very slightly!
Basically I put together an outfit which looked cute, and then whilst I was looking for somewhere to take the photos of it, I remembered the pretty settings surrounding the store Dimma.
I found the perfect place to pose, and little demon girl me did a jump for joy but then I found myself thinking, "wait why would a demoness come from a church?" Then the thought occured that wasn't Lucifer originally an Angel and didn't he have demonic children? So perhaps she was just visiting her grandpa?! LOL... OK maybe I have been watching a little too much Supernatural again recently, don't kill me for that, but I hope you can forgive me for the sentiment in the photo if you're opposed to that kind of talk?!
We can blame the ramble on Horror Haute LOL, but isn't this outfit adorable!?!
First of all, let's start by talking about the gorgeous dress... This dress comes from Aftermath Creations, and includes a pair of shoes and some bling that I've not worn here... You will not have seen this in any Horror Haute line-up before because this one has been created as a special release just for the event!
I decided to wear it with some really awesome simple black pumps from KRAVE - which would be simple if you can ignore the fact that at the toes you have a row of razor sharp teeth... They are Demon Heels after all hehe.
I kept my hair in a very pretty style, the Elikatira Kara style to be exact - oh and this one is a FREEBIE from Hair Fair just so you know hehe - and lastly, and only because she is visiting grandpa in church, she pulled on her favourite "halo". One of the Elemental Halos from The Nebulae - which you may have seen before as they have been a Witching Hour release from TfAtN which has now had a store name change it seems hehe...
SO I start my day with what some may think of as a little bit of blasphemy, but I'm hoping that no one gets offended and instead looks upon it as a little demon who loves to visit her family.

The Hair Fair starts tomorrow and my goodness there are so many pretty styles waiting there for you. I went and bought 7, although after I've finished this post that total number may be more like 8, but I will no doubt show you those later...
For now though I've been through all the freebie hairs that I have been able to find on each of the sims... There are four sims in total, named for hair colours...
Red Head First... As we all know, I am a redhead not just in SL but in RL too, and I personally believe that Red Heads have more fun LOL... I know that there will be so many people who disagree but it's my blog and I wanna start with them...
I picked my four favourite FREEBIE styles from the Red Head Sim... First is from [DUE] - a short wavy style perfect for the beach, second is a floppy slightly Emo style from [INK], the next is a little girlie pair of braids from MaiOwn! and lastly a formal and fancy updo from Elikatira...
Noirette next, and here I found five freebies that I had to share with you... Some of these come with huds for multiple different colourings, but as I am a redhead then I chose the read colours - you won't always need to wear them in these colours!
My favourite freebies from this sim included a short bob from Tameless, a somewhat steam-punkish half up-do from Olive, a very low and loose one sided ponytail from Mithral, a long braid complete with hat from EMO-tions and a pretty Exile long and loose style...
Then comes the Brunette Sim. Here I had some freebies that I loved from some big names... Wasabi Pills has always been somewhere I know I can go to for the cute colourful styles, I also loved the two choppy short bobs from Calico and Lamb, but it was here I found a new store that specialises in fantasy hair called Oblivion... That will definitely be one worth checking out in the future!!! Some of the royal styles they had looked brilliant!
Lastly the freebies on the Blonde Sim...I found a few more stores here that I'd never heard of too... This event has definitely opened my eyes for the new hair stores in SL... I'd been stuck with the same few that I'd always gone too... WELL not anymore!! On the Blonde Sim I picked up freebies from Sage - a cool dread locked up-do - a short and colourful retro style from Yuko and something a little "Jackie O" from Murray... I even found some awesome two toned styles from Analog Dog and Little Bones!!!
That's a lot of hair right there and THAT is just the freebies, there are so many more things I have to show you over the next few days but good luck getting into Hair Fair starting from tomorrow... It´s gonna be busy but I promise you it´s worth it!!!
