I ain't afraid of no Ghosts...

So yesterday I was thinking a lot about Wonderland, I cannot tell you really what sparked that thought pattern but last night to distract the hubby we watched Pirates of the Caribbean and tonight it's movie night again... I'm not that much of movie buff - Lord of the Rings excluded, I could talk about that all day - but there are times when the right movie can be a good thing... They set the mood, they like my blog can take me away to another place and they bring stories to life that many may never think of... 
Now I'm going to show my age here, I'm a child of the 80s and proud of it, but do you remember when 3D movies first became a thing?! It was an insane experience... 

The first time I saw a 3D movie it was a shock... I think the first time I saw a 3D movie was the Muppets 3d in Disneyland, and I can honestly say as much as the film was fun it set my motion sickness off something terrible and I was more than a little put off from seeing things in 3D again... 
It was crazy to me how a movie brought someone's imagination to life in moving pictures but also that those moving pictures could leave a screen and be right up in your face like they could touch you... It was a bizarre feeling, one that still makes me surprised to this day... Even though now days it's less abnormal andif you try and tell youngans about it they look at you iek you have two heads, with stories of different coloured glasses!!! 
Anyway it's movie time... HellBone plans to scare me a little with a few Ghostbusters...

Orcs are Great Defenders

There is a whirring in the air, the sound that could be mistaken for many things as it floats on the breeze, but it is infact the doors of the Engine Room having been thrown open and the purring of the engine lulling across the land of Second Life... The Engine Room isn't a place for everyone, not everyone can handle the post-Apocalypse lifestyle... 
When you have a place in this post-Apocalypse world, you have to really cling on to it and fight whatever comes your way to try and take it from you.. Prime real estate is hard to find, and even harder to keep... 

I have been able to commandeer one of the best locations in this post-Apocalyptic world... The Dead Zone Arcade - from Synnergy.Tavis available until March 28th at Cake Day - is now my home zone, I've set up a camp with a perfectly warm fire, and released my little robotic friend from her safe space in my pocket... 
There was a very strange creaking after a while, and suddenly one of the old arcade games burst open, the characters of the game spilling out into the light and making themselves at home around my fire. How could I refuse the cute little Orc Boiz - from Tardfish at Chronicles & Legends until April 1st - a place at the fire if they are more than willing to helpf fight for our base!!

Kinky Bunny Taming

I wanted to do something a little naughty again, I definitely miss doing the naughty things... When I get a chance to do things and an inspiration hits, I cannot help myself when my brain comes up with an idea, my mind goes into overdrive... Somehow today I had a craving to become a naughty bunny tamer... The circus will never be the same again, we're heading to an underground kink ring... The lions aren't around here, the bunnies are the ones that need taming... 

The location is a bit of a Teese - an older but still awesome backdrop from FOXCITY - all of the lights are dark and moody and the setting is unlike any circus you may have seen before. Since the night is a little kinky, the bed is set with some adorable cushions and soft silk sheets - on the True Crime Set from Krescendo that is available until February 22nd at Kinky - and Rudh with her Whip Buns - from Tardfish at the new round of Hentai Fair - are ready to make the Kinbaku Bunny - from Short Leash - obey - thanks to a pose from -Extra.

Saving Lola...

For some reason I found myself thinking about Star Wars today. I know it's nothing special for a Star Wars day, but you can watch it any day right and HellBone would put it on any time in our house... He's been addicted to the movies, the series and all the stuff in between, we have vintage toys from the 1970s, we have new plushie toys and we have all kinds of random decor... You might say that HellBone is a bit of a fan - in the same way I am about LOTR or Supernatural - and I guess the collection in SL is just an extension of that... 

Some how my day dreams today took me into a Star Wars Empire base, I was sent on a mission by Princess Leia to rescue someone very special from her past. Now we all know that she had been busy running a rebel alliance, yet she never stopped thinking about her pretty, and spunky little friend LAL0 the droid - that was brought into SL by the awesomeness that is the BONDI store. 
The rescue mission went a LITTLE badly though, Rudh had grabbed the wrong LAL0 droid, mistaking the colour patterns and disturbing the armed guards. The resulting hail of bullets sending sparks around the ship... I hope Lola and I make it out of here alive!!!
