This week is the last colour challenge photo from the challenge hosted by the Colourful Leader - Miss Luna Jubilee - and this for me completes 2 full years of colour challenging. Back when the colour challenge originally started my blog was still somewhat new, and I needed some juice to get my blogging mojo kick started, I was lucky enough to discover this awesome challenge and have since been addicted to getting my challenging fill of rainbow goodness! It has kept me blogging week after week, and has definitely helped me in learning more about photography and Photoshop than I ever would have learnt without it - making me achieve a set of skills I never would imagine I could have. I'm still learning but if it hadn't been for the colour challenge I might have gotten bored of blogging long ago!
I've also met some of the most amazingly, brilliantly talented people by being involved in the colour challenge group... It's brought together a collection of people from all different walks of SL and I doubt I'd have met any of you if it hadn't been for the challenge. So BIG HUGS to all the Colour Challengers. Miss Luna, Thank you SO MUCH for being our leader for the last two long years, helping to expand our wardrobes, skills and use of colours... I don't know how you coped hehe!!!
THE LAST WEEK - WEEK 52 - AMAZON
Week 52: I shed a little tear or three! |
Hair: Ploom - Dawn (Available at 50% off for the 12 Days of Christmas Deals)
Skin: Ploom - Maia in Smoke Honey
Eyes: IKON - Horizon Eyes in Dark Verdigris
Eyelashes: LeLutka - 2011 lashes/curl
Piercing: Cute Poison - Beauty Destroyed
YES I cheated on the outfit, I couldn't find anything in green and I realised that my gorgeous IKON eyes matched the colour this week perfectly I had to do a little close-up. I doubt I'll be wearing much green anymore, it wasn't really my colour before the challenge and it's not one I will admit to having fallen in love with... Other colours I did, green I most certainly did not - although I prefer it to purple LOL...
I'll see you around my fellow colour bloggerettes... My IM is always open for you guys! Please don't be strangers, and I'll be watching your blogs! Missing you guys already... Happy Christmas XXXXX
Beautiful as ever Rudh. I think this photo is a lovely note to end this challenge on. Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteRudh..thanks so much for all your nice comments.. and most of all thanks for all your unexpeted fantastic posts... i sure will follow you
ReplyDeleteAww don't cry, knowing you, you'll be finding many more challenges to keep your creativity flowing! You finish the colour challenge with a beautiful picture, just you, the person behind all the crazy and amazing outfits, and that's a profile-worthy capture.
ReplyDeleteYou have kept this up for two years running, which is an Amazonian feat if ever there was one. You were also the inspiration behind my own blog, so while I do owe thanks to Luna for the idea and keeping it going, you're really the person I want to thank - I'm not sure I'd have bothered to keep going with this if I hadn't had your sense of fun and style to keep me motivated, and I loved that we could bounce ideas off each other every time we got a little stuck. I have enjoyed the colour challenge hugely, and a great part of that has been doing it with you. I know you'll keep going from strength to strength with your blog - I hope mine doesn't peter out now I lack the challenge to keep me posting!
*Hugs* it was a fantastic ride - and who says we have to get off just because the horses have changed?
Same adiction here Rudh The Sunday is now a blank canvas to fill Loved your comments and your pictures every week
