I did warn you there might be more daisies coming, and well I've been wearing this outfit for a few days now so I guess it was high time I shared my cuteness with the world... Normally I find cute hard to pull off... Dark and macabre YES, pretty and girlie OK, but cute cute?! Maybe you can tell me if I pulled it off ok?!
So basically this is a kinda sorta look of the day post for me, but it's just SOOOOO CUTE and after wearing it for a few days I decided that this post had to happen. I got a little frustrated that I couldn't find the right place to pose in though, and after much grumping and wandering around I suddenly had an epiphany. The perfect, cutest and most adorable store location I knew of had this adorable little magical cafe in it's rafters... If you haven't been to MoonPhase, you should not only for the amazing items that are available but also for the setting upstairs! They have the most magical cakes!!!
My look of the day though started out with items released by uzu - available at Flora until May 17th - and how could I pass up on it... It's Daisies, It's Yellow! It's a Win Win for me! I added some more daisies in the awesome Limerence wig, and stuck to these new kinda-sorta gifties at a discounted price from Tentacio - available at Anthem now - but it wasn't until I was playing around with the adorable Lilla's Well Loved Plushies that I found my match made in heaven! This plushie set is TOTALLY ADORABLE - available at the Gacha Garden now until May 31st - they are the kind of plushies we may have had in childhood and brought into adulthood with us. You can get them in kid sizes too, so my lil sister is now the proud owner of a well loved unicorn, but for me the kitty was a favourite!

It's getting closer, so close the magic is deep and dark and scary... Halloween is coming and I cannot wait! Just a few more sleeps until Halloween! Now that the veil is lifting and we're closer to the otherside, Rudh is putting in a few calls to home, and chatting with her demonic friends and summoning them all to come for a visit over the holidays!
Summoning takes a lot of effort though, I mean you have to set the scene, and depending on who you are contacting it will vary as to what you need... Her Witch Planning Book - from Tentacio - keeps notes of what is needed to contact everyone, and in this case she's using Scattered Crystals - from Lovely Alien - and a HUGE Blood Bucket - from Pink Unicorn - though I'm not sure if the person she's contacting is at home!
Wait a minute though, the little demonic Rudh may be scaring her callers away... I mean look she's dressed like some kind of nun?! A Marianna Hairstyle - from Doe - and a cute uniform from the Witchcraft Academy - from Dead Dollz - the funny part is, it looks like it's not sitting well with her skin. She's got an outbreak of FIKA Trypophobia Freckles appeared on her cheeks, her face is slowly peeling apart! It's not that clear here, but take a look at the close up!!! Her face is rotting away!!

So many people in the RL world have a misconception about Second Life. For many it is considered a game, and while I agree that there are certain aspects of the SL Universe that can fall within this category, for me I have always felt differently about it. For me Second Life is an online community that is vibrant and diverse and ever changing. In all the years I've been in Second Life, I've seen it evolve into the beast that it now seems to be. I've met many great people that are as much a part of my RL as my RL friends and family have always been - including my RL husband, in case you'd forgotten that - and I even have a RL job that uses the SL world as it's core foundation.
So I'd never in a million years consider myself to be a "Gamer". I see so many people enjoying actual games - those that share their fun on Facebook for example - yet it's not something I enjoy. Many of the coolest looking games and I don't mix, I get extreme motion sickness, and well, as phone game apps don't count... I'm definitely NOT a Gamer... Sometimes though it's fun to play dress up, and I guess I was a little inspired!
Believe it or not, this post all started because of something that is soooooooo small - and yes I WILL put a copy of the item's ad at the bottom just so you can see it more clearly, and believe me when you see it you will want one too - and it makes me laugh just how much the smallest things can inspire an outfit, then a rambling LOL... The item that I'm talking about is the collar I'm wearing! It's a new release from Fika for Flora, those pink studs aren't really studs at all they are keyboard keys and it's FREAKING ADORABLE! It did however lead me down the slippery slope to today's rant AND made me go a little bit pink!
What started with the pink collar, soon saw me needing to match my MuggleBorn Holly Shorts and then it became a weird-ish - weird for me at least - Gamer Girl kinda look. Kinda cute though right?!
As promised, wrapping up with close-ups, both the Collar and the shorts... They are BOTH so adorable and worth having... Get them while you can!!
