So, normally I try to keep things a little PG in here... Sometimes though that can and will slip away just a little, BUT before anyone tells me off for public rudeness - LOL - I will say that it isn't entirely my fault LOL...
I blame the minds behind Captivity Co Poses hehe, well partly anyway, because let's face it, if they didn't make such raunchy poses I wouldn't have them burning a hole in my inventory calling out for me to play around with them would I? LOL...
The only other problem that I had in making this photo was that I needed a partner in crime... HellBone has never really been a lover of posing in such a sexy way, but at the same time he wasn't too keen on me asking one of our guy friends to pose with me... Then a thought struck me like a bolt of lightning... Our friend Kara!
Kara is a submissive, and has recently lost her master after he became too much like a lot of SL's "Doms". Now don't get me wrong here, I have NO problem with the whole Dom/Sub culture in SL - in the past I switched as both - but there seems to be a trend for males especially to use the whole "I'm a Dom" thing to just collect as many women as possible. Kara had fallen into the trap of this kind of a "Dom" and once he started to appear to be collecting women, she did what I would have done and thrown him off her collar. After all, no matter how much of a Dom someone is, the Submissive is always the one with the final say...
What she did though was hard for anyone to do, losing your Dom for a Sub is like a break-up in any relationship. There is always pain and heartache, but what made it easier in Kara's case anyway, seemed to be the fact that he made himself look like a total numpty in front of a lot of other people in the process of this breakup!
This picture is part of her final say... Her Dom decided that I should be his replacement on the basis that she hangs around with me a lot and that I needed her mod rights... The reason I needed that from her was that Kara is a prospect in HellBone's MC - as a prospect (someone who wants to become a member) she has to be with us as much as possible and the mod rights meant that as she was having PC trouble last time we were out visiting a place and she kept crashing, I could have cleaned up her bike rather than having to get the land owner to do so for us... There was nothing more to it than that... Just seemed like he felt uncomfortable with her having friends that cared!
So when I saw this pose from Captivity Co Poses I thought, why not let her flick him the finger and make use of a damn good pose ALL AT ONCE Lol...

In RL, the cult of the Celebrity is EVERYWHERE! Surprisingly though the cult of SLebrity seems to be somewhat less easy to distinguish... Of course you get the big names in the design community, and there are a couple of bloggers I might even think of as SL famous, but then there are people that tell me about "famous" bloggers or designers and sometimes I find myself scratching my head and thinking "who?!"
Though recently one of my personal favourite bloggers - and in my opinion a SLeb - Miss Eliza Quixote and I had discussed a photo shoot together. I met Eliza during the much loved 52 Weeks of Colour Challenge, and from then on we've passed like ships in the night sending messages to each other when we got close enough and waving from afar.
Once we'd set up a date, she told me that we'd be having a guest joining our shoot... When I found out who it was I fan-girled to the point of being reduced to a small jar of jelly like goo! LOL! This was because the guest in question was one of my favourite jewellery designers... Someone who I've revered... Someone who I have waited for in anticipation of her next release... Someone who is featured a LOT in my everyday wardrobe... I am referring to Miss Maxi Gossamer!!!!! *Fangirls just a little bit more*
Luckily Eliza had everything in control, from choosing the location - which if I remember rightly was It All Starts With A Smile that is soon to reopen and better than before I must say, to creating the pose we're using here... All Maxi and I had to do was turn up and look pretty... I just wish I'd gotten the memo they'd both be in pink LOL...
I knew Eliza would out girlie me though so I didn't even try... I went casual, having found this adorable hoodie from !gO! on the marketplace and my favourite new bell bottom jeans from Moon... I had a hard time choosing jewellery though lol... Did I wear Maxi Gossamer, with the lady herself present? Did I go for something else? Instead I decided sod it and went for my favourite MG jewellery set, the Royal Khadijah Estate...
BTW the outcome of all of this... Maxi Gossamer is a friendly and normal person LOL... I was fangirlling and worrying over nothing hehe... Thank you Eliza honey for setting this up and letting me meet someone I greatly admire!

One of the things I love most about my wardrobe is that every day can be a different style and I can go from one thing to something totally opposite within the blink of an eye...
Normally my style tends to be of the bikerish, rock chick style, with a hint of what some might call slut wear thrown in for good measure... LOL I don't know how it came about that I would dress like that, but it is something I have just grown into I suppose hehe...
BUT, sometimes I like to play with looks that are outside my "normal" box... This would definitely fall into that category... The event in question that caused the look I am rambling on about today is one called "Futurewave", although the look I came up with is a little more reminiscent of steam punk than futuristic...
I suppose Steampunk could kinda, sorta fit into a futuristic theme... I mean the basis of steampunk is that it is inspired by the industrialised Victorian era, where any steampowered creation was seen as futuristic! Now I have to admit I don't dabble in this area very often as it is something that I find kinda hard to get to grips with, but these items from AZE Designs - which are all available now at Futurewave - really caught my attention. The Reverse Periscope, Oscillation Enhancers and Voice Modulater are definitely things that scream "RUDH PLAY WITH ME!" and once those things were fitted the rest of my look seemed to fall into place.
The dress was one of those things that happened to land in my lap just as I was playing with these items and might be how they went from futuristic to steampunkish hehe... This dress is a new release from ImmateriA called Cassiopeia, which is available in three different colours, and has a very vintage, glam yet somewhat steampunkish feel to it - especially in this colour combination!

Normally I try to eat healthily, and love nothing more than a hearty home cooked meal... Casseroles and Jacket Potatoes are a staple food in our house and I love coming up with interesting twists on the classic meals. Since my parents bought HellBone a bread maker for Christmas - yes a big scary lookin' biker turned bread maker lol - we've been eating a lot of casserole, just so we can use the fresh bread that tastes SO yummy!
But sometimes, very occasionally, we throw the healthy eating rule book out the window and can get take-out. My favourite place is a wok take out that I am addicted to, but I love a good pizza too...
Good fast food places are hard to find but I think in SL I might have cracked it hehe... The up coming round of The Arcade, starts on March 1st, and already I am itching to get in and get some of the goodies that are being posted on Flickr. Though if you are heading in, don't forget to stop at the MishMish Food Court...
Aime Takaii, of MishMish, has opened up a restaurant of sorts for The Arcade, and OH MY GOSH it is the best loooking food EVER! I fell in love with the pizza man, the french fries man and the hot dog man, but there are some adorable breakfast goodies and some tea time yummies too... The trays are rare items, so even if you don't get the rares you will still be able to make whole food sets and have a really yummy dinner!
As for the rest of The Arcade... I CANNOT WAIT!!!! Already Schadenfreude is on my hitlist of things I need... What ever will be next?! Just remember that you cannot get anything until March 1st, if of course you are one of the lucky ones to get in then!

I received an item to blog this weekend from one of the stores that I blog for and it instantly got my creative juices flowing. The direction I went in was something a little different from my usual style too, and I love that sometimes just one little item can lead me into a whole new territory when it comes to playing with my wardrobe. PLUS, it also helped me to find a gift from a friend that I had totally forgotten I had...
The item that started all of this was the awesome new pose prop from Captivity Co. Poses. Miss Amanda "Pinkie" Randall has created a pose prop called I am the Genie for this month's round of The Fantasy Collective and I knew as soon as I saw it I HAD to play with it... Then again I was also lucky when it came to the outfit of choice because Kinu - of SAKIDE, one of my all time go-to stores - was also active in the event and she pulled out all the stops to create this Arabian Diva outfit. Thank Goodness because who knows what I would have worn otherwise! It is kinda surprising how much I play dress up, and how low on anything genieish I am... Well was anyway!
The item that I discovered, and that I had totally forgotten, had been a gift way back in time from one of the sweetest bloggers on the planet... Miss Eliza Quixote. I think this was a gift due to something to do with the colour challenge, and unfortunately this was the item that got the Christina Aguilera "Genie in a Bottle" song stuck in my head for the last few days, but how awesome is it finding something this cool buried in your hoard LOL! I am talking by the way about the skybox which is in fact a Dreamy Genie Bottle from Trompe Loeil... These were available in a couple of colours but the blue just screamed at me I remember and when I was offered something from this store THIS was the one thing that I had to have!!! A few pretty candles, some jewellery boxes and a magical staff that this genie stole from a passing wizard and voila, my Genie crash pad was complete hehe...

The Gators MC - HellBone's Biker Club, that I have to maintain as his Secretary - is celebrating it's one year anniversary this week. This time last year, the club was just a twinkling in HellBone's eye, and through a lot of blood, sweat, tears and just a little road rash, the MC has pulled itself to the level it is at now... A close-knit bunch of people that treat each other more as family, and are closer than any other MC in the community I have met so far.
Now to celebrate this event, we've decided to host not just one but a collection of events over the course of the week, and they are open to ANYONE, not just bikers.

Anyway I have taken this opportunity to create my own little Rudhmellowen Fashion Week... A week of parties means I need a week of different outfits, one for each event right?!
I'm goign to find myself busy with this over the next few days, so at the weekend I decided to create enough outfits to wear and now you lucky things, get not just one but 6 Rudh looks of the week!

One of my favourite things to blog has to be the Monday Memes, I've said it before and I will say it again... I love to be a part of the Monday Meme brigade... My blog is something I can have periods of stuggle on but with the help of the Memes, I am able to keep myself focused and moving forward...
But this week our lovely Meme host, Miss Strawberry Singh, needs a bit of a boost herself. Something to help pick her up and help her dust herself off... Nothing we as the blogger community do or say can really help her scars to heal, but we can apply a little salve of love, hugs and support to try to make her feel better in the healing process... Gosh I really hope that doesn't sound too patronising!
The Monday Meme this week is hosted by Berry's favourite thorn in her side, Mr Winter Jefferson, who has asked us about how we found our hope in times of pain, so that hopefully we can help Berry feel just that little bit less alone!
OK, its going to be a hard one, but already tears have been brought to my eyes just looking through the comments to this one already up on Berry's blog...
One of the hardest times of my life was during my University years, and involves the death of one of my best friends - and to be frank the most humanitarian person I have ever know in RL... My darling friend Carito, the girl who wanted to be a pirate when she grew up - spent months going backwards and forwards to the doctors with stomach pains. She was told it was Irritable Bowel Syndrome, was passed medications and told to come back if it didn't go away. After six months, and changing her doctor on 3 seperate occasions, they discovered that it was bowel cancer, which had spread into her throat. This was devastating news, if they'd discovered it sooner then she could still be with us today, but they reasoned at the time they never checked for cancer because she was only 28! Like cancer is an age restricted illness or something?! We all gathered around to make the good memories that will be with us forever - as a team we helped her achieve her goals including finishing her degree with us and being able to be pushed across the stage in her wheelchair to collect her certifications, and although we knew it was coming, the day the phone call went round was a day that sticks in my mind like a stabbing pain always.
After her death, I spent a few days in hiding... I lounged in my PJs, I cried at Disney Movies, and I cuddled my favourite stuffed toy, not wanting to voice my feelings. Then we were called to her memorial... Her family wanted to keep her funeral totally private - only 20 people were present in a tiny chapel in the middle of the Yorkshire Moors - but I joined with all of my friends and her family at the greatest memorial ceremony I have ever seen... It was beautiful and filled with hope! In the middle of forest - a shaded glen - we were allowed to plant flowers for her alongside an stone cairn style bench... The music and the laughter drifted on the breeze, and there was a real sense of peace and hope.... That for me was a time in which I felt like desolation and isolation personified but after that moment the little sparkle of hope took hold and got bigger.
Berry, no matter how alone and unhappy you feel right now, no matter how much you want to bury yourself under a fluffy duvet with just your teddybear for company, no matter how dark things seem around you, please remember that old cliche... Every cloud has a silver lining! Soon you will be able to ride that cloud and sparkle in the sunshine once again, with people like Winter around I am sure that will happen before you know it, and even though you feel blue now - and you're allowed to, you're more than justified - just never forget how many people see you as a vibrant, intelligent, beautifully brilliant person that should hold her head up high and sing and dance like no one is watching...
