30 Days of Gratitude - Day 17

What am I greatful for today;

1) My friend's TERRIBLE Chat Up Lines! As soon as I logged in this morning one of my old friend's Scorp appeared in my IM, apparently intent on testing some of his chat-up lines. They had me in stitches, I was laughing so hard, I woke Hell LOL!!! I wanted to share some here because they were just too classic not to, so ladies and gentlemen I present to you, SCORPION's CHAT UP LINES 101...

"Are you a lumberjack? Cuz you're giving me wood!"

"As long as i have a face, u alwayz have a place to sit."

"Are you free tonight or am I gonna have to pay?"

"Are you in to Casual Sex or should I dress up?"

2) Never Fly HellBone Airways... A second thing to happen that made me laugh this morning was just after Helly woke up. He has been playing with plane scripts so that he can script his soon to be released Fantastic 4 Movie Vehicle. Yet the way that he parked his plane would never have me flying with his airline! 

3) MY FIRST MESH CLOTHING! Yes it is something to shout about, because today I pulled on a MESH Hoodie thinking, it would look terrible and it actually fitted perfectly, I was stunned!!! Normally I can't wear rigged mesh as I am a no mod shape, but today I COULD!!! I was so happy I had to take a picture! 

4) Ancient FM... Fledge and her hubby found this radio station that streams through the net and I really was intrigued. I now use it as relaxation music! I've had it on most of the day today, and it is beautiful, really calming a bit like when you sit back and take a breath... 52WOCC2 - Week 16

Oh well, where to start with this post. I have been blogging up a storm here recently, every day I am writing about the things I am greatful for and I love being able to see how much I have done. OK the posts wont win me any awards, but they are like always, heartfelt and very rewarding at a time when I have been on the borderline of depression. It's nice to be able to find 5 minutes at the end of the day to just sit back and post something, anything, it doesn't matter what. Maybe I will try to do one of those post a day for a year things that you see people doing sometimes, ya know like a year in pictures or something. I am NOT the best photographer but I do love taking snapshots, so maybe hmm?

This week's colour anyway, a bright colour at last, I am SO OVER PASTELS! Yet still it was a cold colour, this is becoming almost as bad for me as the run on poop colours last year, where are the reds, the yellows and - never repeat I said this -  the pinks?! Have they fallen off the colour wheel or something, Luna?? LOL BRING THEM ON HON!!

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 16

What am I greatful for today;

1) A Good Nights Sleep... I woke this morning at my usual time of about 7.30, god knows why it was that early but for some reason my body is like 'oh it's light out now, wake up bish!' It doesn't really bother me, I am most productive in the mornings, but last night was a REALLY good nights sleep. Something I had been lacking in a while, guess now my interview was over I could finally relax and what with Hell being next to me warming up the bed, it was snuggly and just plain great!! 

2) A SL Saturday Shopping Spree! There is so much shopping to be done over the weekend, Hell gave me a few lindens to play with so that maybe I can buy something nice, I am already eyeing things up... I LOVE shopping in SL where everything is so cheap hehe!!

3) Being there as a shoulder to cry on... People I know seem to be suffering in the onslaught of Friday 13th. Things seem to go weel for some and then badly for others all at the same time, and even though I hope this isn't taken the wrong way, I am glad for once things seem to be going right for me, that won't ever stop me being a shoulder for anyone I know. I feel greatful that they would come to me even if it is just for a hug! 

4) HUGS! The world would be a better place if it was run on hugs! I plan on hugging everyone more in future, as it makes me feel happy when people hug back!

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 15

What am I greatful for today; 

1) Friday 13th!... One of those weirdly superstitious days that people always seem to think are bad. My mum says she feels 13 is a lucky number! Let's just hope she is right as I have my rescheduled interview today!! 

2) My Interview going well... I had my first interview in a long time today. It was supposed to be last week but what with it being Easter it was postponed to today. It seemed to go pretty well, the woman and I had a few giggles and she seemed to like my answers, so keep your fingers crossed for me... I really hope that I get this job, it will be interesting and I am sure there will be lots of people that I meet on a daily basis... Wish me luck! 

3) Make-Up Remover... I hate wearing make-up and putting a face on is like sheer torture for me, but yet when you take it off, I use baby wet wipes for that btw, it feels SO GOOD to free your skin! I LOVED getting home from my interview with a chinese takeaway and putting on my jammies, before pulling my make-up off... Ahhhh Bliss! 

4) Kawaii Goodness... I have been working to cover the Kawaii Fair on Seraphim these past few days, it will be going up either tomorrow or Sunday, but there is so much cute coming outta that one small space it is unreal! If Hello Kitty was brought to life in SL it would be HERE!!!

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 14

What am I greatful for today; 

1) Being able to make people feel good... This morning I was talking to an event planner in SL and arranged with her that Niki, Seraphim's new sweetie, would be covering an upcoming event. Niki was SO excited when a request to join the group came to her.

I remember moments like that when I first got working with Seraphim... The Fangirl never leaves, I still get excited when I talk to certain designers, but seeing Niki's reaction was great and I felt like I'd done my first, and possibly only, good deed of the day. Niki needed cheering up, this seems to have worked hehe! 

2) Bags... In RL I am addicted to handbags, as a big girl I claim that as clothing seems to cost more I will have less clothing and more accessories hehe! In SL though I have never really been one for carrying around a bag, seemed kinda pointless as I could carry my wardrobe warehouse with me, but then I spotted these, and they are an accessory that had me giggling like a mad woman. I think I will go with SLainsbury's. For those of you that don't know, Sainsbury's, Asda and Tesco are RL Supermarkets in the UK!! These bags are brilliant!! Wonder if they have one for SLaitrose (Waitrose)?

Get these from Sleeping Koala... At the moment I have only seen them at the upcoming Kawaii fair but I will let you know if I find them elsewhere.

Not feeling great, I had a lack of sleep last night so I am gonna be offline, spending time with a book, some crap TV and my PJs...

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 13

What am I greatful for today; 

1) Laundry Drying Weather... Perfect for drying laundry today!!! Brilliant that's all I can say!

2) Queen's Day Preparations... Holland becomes one HUGE party on Queen's Day, April 30th, every year. Each year the Park becomes like a giant carnival or flea market, everyone is allowed to sell their old stuff, and this year like last year Hell and I will be going out to join them. My mum and dad plan to come over for a visit too, so I bought my mum a special hat, and plan on telling her that as it is her first Queen's Day she has to keep it on all day LOL... What do you think??

3)Seeing Lynnieloo... She's been a bit quiet lately, and I have missed her something chronic!

4) Getting the bed to myself again... Hell is back to working nightshifts, so I get the bed to myself YAY!!!

30 Days of Gratitude - Day 12

What am I greatful for today; 

1) Vivid Dreams... I woke up this morning and had had a dream that felt so real I could describe it in detail, from the way it looked to the way it sounded to the way it smelt. Was about a hotel with a difference and a school trip that never was, but it felt so real! Wasn't one of my nightmares, thank goodness, but it was really surreal, just a shame that it faded in my mind as I was making a cuppa this morning and had no time to write it down, otherwise it would have been "Move Over J.K.Rowling!"

2) Happy Memories... This time last year was the day that Hell and I had to make the sad decision to let our awesome Dog, Biko, go to sleep. She was a brilliant girl, the first dog that I had ever had anything to do with and she and I spent a lot of time together as I moved over to Holland! I can see a lot of her mannerisms in Izzy now too, don't know if that has something to do with the way we are training Izzy, but I always joke that Biko is teaching Izzy her naughty tricks!!! Miss you Biko, but we're smiling at the memories! 

3) Rudh on Seraphim Backstage... My first post on Backstage, Seraphim's latest venture... Check me out!!! I will be bringing out a new interesting feature to the blog in the very near future too hehe!!

4) Hidden Object Games... I am addicted, it's a bit like treasure hunting in SL but with a really good story. Hell found me a couple and as I am feeling more than a bit meh today, I am gonna spend some time playing one... I think this one is about Dorian Grey!! Plus it will hone up my SL treasure hunting skills hehe!!

5) Pjs and Tea!
