"When life gives you Lemons..."

When life gives you lemons, they say that you should make lemonade.. I wonder why they stick with just lemonade, why not put them in cakes too lol.. Lemon cake is yum and seriously, if people are going to give you lemons, then you should definitely use that for all they are worth. 
I've been given a few lemons today and rather than letting them make me sour and unhappy, I'm gonna say "fuck those sour lemons", I'm gonna make cake and smile about the sourpusses! 

I am finally done with things that made me feel pretty down in the dumps, I made choices for my own life and I've stuck to them, not letting someone else manipulate me any further. My lemon cake is going to taste super sweet, and everything will be sweet from now on...

Nights on a Neon Beach

What a hectic day today, honestly I've not seen my day job so busy as it was today in such a long time, that my entire body has a feeling of ouchies... I'm sore all over lol... 
I think that I need a day to just switch off - in truth I need a trip home to my parents - and relax, let my hair down and do something fun... I think I'd like to go back to the beach, but this time I'm going to head to a beach that's a little more day-glo than fun in the sun... 

I'm gonna head to a neon beach, dance on the dark shores and eat icy things... Lollies and Summer Snowcones.... Delicious and cold, perfect for a day on my neon beach, and luckily my adorable "Anchor's Away" bikini and skirt set - from 1313 Mockingbird Lane - was the perfect look to play on the neon beach in...

Sparkles of the Sun

 Yesterday I played on the beach in the sun, today I decided to let the sun goddess that was hiding inside truly come out to play, and she's not the sunbathing kind of sun goddess either... Today the sun is literally my persona... Don't get me all hot and bothered now, you don't want to see how fire can burn, instead let her sparkle and warm you gently... 

I love the way that she sparkles in the darkness... Her twinkling most likely caused by the stars and planets caught up in her solar aura - yes as you can tell I LOVE combining aura sparkles, and the ones from LuluB and Cole's Corner go together SO WELL - radiating warmth and happiness like a gentle summer hug! Her outfit though offers a subtle reminder not to make her mad... It's WHITE HOT!!! Such a gorgeous dress for a sun goddess is the Mei Set from Psycho Barbie... 
The Sun is never alone however, and on her journey through the darkness of space she takes the moon and stars with her... Finding Beachy Treasures

On a day off, that's warm like this it's LOVELY to spend a day at the beach... In RL I'm NOT a fan of swimming in the sea though, I hate not knowing what's swimming in the water around me LOL, but in SL it's a different story... Our little beach is my slice of happiness right now, and to make me feel at home, we've gone with a bit of a stony beach, just like the beach close to my home in the UK... 
My doggy and I hit the cool water, looking for pretty pebbles and sea glass... 

I found some treasure that was even better... A Starfish... My Doggy -  a Splashy Spaniel from Jian - was far too excited as he splashed over desperate to see and soaking me in the process!! 
He's lucky that it wasn't too cold LOL...
