Back to School

I'm kinda sorta going back to school, sorta. The company that I work for is giving me some language training so that I can finally improve my Dutch. We're using an app called Duolingo - it's a free app unless you choose to pay for it, and there's LOADS of languages that you can choose including Klingon and something from the Game of Thrones! Feels so good to be bacck to learning again, I LOVE learning new things, I ws always such a geeky student! 

I was such a nerd at school, loved all my classes and even opted out of a technical study for more classical studies. 
Rudh was a little different at school I'd imagine... She's always been a bit of a bad girl... I love the look that she has to wear at school today. When I went to school, I had to wear a school uniform, Rudh would only ever dress in her usual somewhat slutwear look for school... An amazing "Becky" skirt - from 1313 Mockingbird Lane - and a cute top, she will definitely get the boys heads turning as she walks down the halls!!

Taking it out on the Doll

UGHHHHH sometimes being an Adult is not fun. Not only are the chores you hated doing as a kid mandatory suddenly, but the stress is REAL! Would it ever be possible to turn back the clock and relive those days when all I had to worry about was "where was barbie's lost shoe?" 
I'm in a bit of a grumpy mood and it's all Adulting's fault since I'm having to work SO MUCH in RL at the moment. I'm working over 50 hours a week, every week, and it's beginning to take a toll on my stress levels... So much so that when I was happily playing with my Barbie, her hair wouldn't stay right so I got mad and... 

POP... My doll's head came off in my hand... Maybe I'm channeling my thoughts regarding annoying customers in the shop I work in, I don't know, but POOR BARBIE!!!
Basically though this is one of those super quick, look-of-the-day type things because I LOVE the outfit I have on and well I LOVE this Dolly too! The Doll is a "Broken Doll" from Sakura, and as well as being two posed parts of the doll you can customize it by changing the hair and skin colours! I LOVE THAT, course I stuck with blonde as that's Barbie's natural shade LOL...
The outfit itself though is a cute set called "Offshore Schoolgirl" - by Zenith - and it too comes in a pack so that colours can be mix-n-matched! Everyone should know by now I love being able to mix-n-match things as it makes them so versatile!

Back to School

My 5 days of very limited amounts of work are coming to an end, tomorrow it's back to work with a bang for a 9 day straight stint till next week Thursday when I have a day off again. I love my jobs I really do, but I can't wait till the end of November when I have a week off. Until then it's back to the grind, although I do wish I was getting ready to go back to school like some of the kids in Holland are doing at the moment... School always sounds so much better than work LOL... 

I used to love the first few days back at school with all new books and school supplies... It was always interesting to see everyone rocking their new bags and pencil cases, and I guess it's why I'm a bit of a geek for stationary even now... I love nothing better than a new notebook! 
Rudh would rock up to school with an adorable new Dino Backpack from Bueno, and an even cuter Kawaii Planner, and that would just be the first day... By the end of the week she may have something totally different, maybe something a little bit scarier looking?! 
All those uber cute accessories, and even some POP! Rings that were and are and will always be cool... She's gonna be a hit, as the new school year starts!

Popular at School

Now that I'm a grown up, one of the things that I find I miss most is the days when things were simple and all I had to worry about was school. I will fully admit that I was a kid that loved school, I wasn't the smartest or most popular, and I definitely wasn't one of the most sporty kids, but all that aside I LOVED school. I loved learning and if I had the chance I'd be heading back to University to take a Masters degree! 
In England, we had to wear school uniforms and I was always a little jealous of Americans that were able to wear their own clothes. Whenever Rudh feels like going to school she has that privilege, no icky uniforms for her, and when she goes she's little miss popular!
