When I was little, Sundays were the days that used to be for making cakes. We were never the kind of family that did it all that often, but at least once a month Mum would bake something. She used to complain about having to do it, but now that I'm older she says she actually enjoyed it just because it kept my sister and I quiet for a while! Now though, Sundays are actually more about chillaxing, watching a bit of TV perhaps and maybe if I'm lucky eating a bit of cake LOL... Now days the only "baking" that goes on in our family home, is when mum sits with a cup of tea to watch The Great British Bake Off...
The reason that I am rambling on about this is because one of the most anticipated events of a 3 month cycle is coming... The Arcade starts again on December 1st, and brocante - the great teamwork store of Wavie Haller and Tegan Serin - has created a set of goodies they have called "The Great Brocante Baking Competition"!
In this amazing set by brocante you will be able to get your hands on ALL things British Bake Off, including the tools you need to bake, the finished products, the location to bake in AND this cute dress and apron!! Yes that's right, furniture geniuses now making clothing too!!!
Remember though please, although I've included a link to The Arcade - it's common knowledge where it is, so no real surprises there - the event doesn't actually open until December 1st. You will have to wait to get your bake on... I just couldn't wait as that's what Sundays are for hehe...
