KABOOM Loading... The Machine Uprising!

Today has been a day when it felt like the world went BOOM... I know there is SO MUCH going on in the world right now, we're teetering on the edge of some pretty bad times but I am also dealing with things in my RL situation that I've mentioned before but they are getting closer and more daunting day by day... 
Today we discovered the officialy starting date for the work on our home, I'm not looking forward to February 27th... It's D-Day... The day that my own little world will go BOOM... 

I needed to do something a little bonkers to make me feel a little less high-anxiety and thought maybe if the BOOM was able to happen, then I'd be able to relax... BOY, did that happen. I couldn't stop giggling as this picture came together on my screen... 
The outfit I wore as I set the flaming match to the fuse of my Bomb - a Boom Baby Holdable Bomb from piXit - was provided by the Division Union - actually the Division set released by AsteroidBox at Kustom9 - as part of my uniform for the resistance... Apparently the machines are coming to life, raising a little hell and I'm not just talking machines in the military... As I was sending out the Emergency Broadcast I had the shock of my life, there on the balcony of the office building, amongst other robots of varying shapes and sizes, was my Funky Fridge - from Junk Food - and my toaster!!!! It's an Armageddon of robotic proportions...

Commander Mellowen and the Sky Sharks

Battle stations everyone... News has reached this part of Second Life that the Steampunkers are taking over, the Engine Room has once again opened it's doors and is welcoming in to meet the Second Life Syndicate... The doors opened on September 20th and we've been warned to keep our eyes open for all manor of crazy characters... So it's time to man those battle stations before they rally together and their armies can amass...  

There are lots of strange people working their way down to the Second Life earth... One of those is rumoured to be commander Mellowen and her squad of Sky Sharks, both Hammers and Shredders - from AxisMundi at the new round of Engine Room until October 20th - some of which have been armoured up to make them even more threatening... She's wearing the Protectorate Uniform - from REBIS, also available at the Engine Room - and is the operator of their invasion... Let's cross our fingers and hope those sharks are friendly, even if their commander isn't...
